Is it possible to change the serial number of a XG Software install

just install the new Serialnumber in a demo appliance and do a license transfer to the current serial number.

If I'm going to do that, I may as well back up my configuration, install a fresh copy of XG, use the correct serial number and then restore the configuration...

But if you do a license transfer, you will have zero downtime.

The License will be transferred in the backend and the XG will get the new license without any restart / downtime.
