Hello everyone,
one of our customers tried to migrate his Cyberoam CR15iNG to SFOS and ran into several errors. The installation of SFOS seemed to go smoothly but the machine doesn't seem to have any connectivity to perform the registration with Sophos. After several resets the machine refused to boot into SFOS. That's when I came into the picture.
My first instinct was to reinstall the appliance which has to be done via console cable since the CR15iNG has no monitor connector. The process itself works. I connect to the machine and get it to boot from USB, but I don't have the matching ISO to do so.
Sophos provides two ISO variants for SFOS - the hardware installer and the software installer
The hardware installer boots and shows a list of all te compatible SG and XG machines stating that my machine is not one of them. So, that doesn't work.
The software installer boots and tells me that there is not enough memory in my machine to install SFOS and refuses to go further.
I talked to Sophos suppport and they didn't know what to do. I talked to the Cyberoam support and was directed to the download page over at Sophos, but I already know that there is no installer for me.
So... where do I get an ISO to reinstall this customers' appliance... is there an installer at all???
Thanks
Björn
