Port forwarding -

3 days reading & rereading; experimenting...  NOOB....  I have followed all of the templates, setup static IP for gameserver, setup services 1:65535 to 25565, firewall wan, any, etc. Still not working. Only thing I see that looks different is the static IP for gameserver shows up with a subnet of 255.255.255.255 while the lan is on 255.255.255.0; is this the problem and if so, how do I fix it.  Thanks in advance!

yes, I have tried both....

  •  Hi

Your configuration looks fine. Only ensure the following settings are correct.

    1. Destination IP from which you want to forward port to your gaming server.

    2. Try enabling NAT.

    3. If you have an ISP router, ensure the port is forwarded to your XG firewall.

If you are still facing the issue please share the output of  packet capture tool available under diagnostic and use BPF string as "port 25565"

    Regards, Ronak.

  • ok, maybe I better clarify:

    1. Destination IP from which you want to forward port to your gaming server.

Please explain 'Destination IP' and what screen are you referring?

    2. Try enabling NAT.

    Enable where?

    3.

ISP does not block any ports; just called and verified.

    Thank for the help!
