Firmware Updates - XG 125W - Are updates cumulative?

I have an XG 125W and just updated the firmware from (SFOS 17.0.6 MR-6) to (SFOS 17.1.1 MR-1). I skipped the install of 17.0.8. Was this a mistake?

I wanted to know if updates are cumulative and can you skip to the newest one or do you need to install each one?
