This KB article describes the steps to workaround the issue when a digitally signed document's reader, like Adobe, is not able to verify signature through a web filtered firewall rule which causes Adobe reader to hangs when opening the digitally signed documents.

Diagnostics shows that this behavior is resulted from the fact that Adobe reader is trying to gather signature from ocsp.safescrypt.com but the connection is dropped. Therefore, a top-most firewall rule that bypasses traffic destined to *.safescrypt.com is needed.
