Sophos XG 105 locking

Question

Hello guys. 
 I have a client with Sophos XG 105, using SFOS 17.0.8, your network has a maximum of 10 computers accessing the internet. The equipment is locking randomly, forcing the customer to restart it, this happens during the day when the company is active or even at night when no device is on the internet. Talking to a friend, who is also partner Sophos, he told me that Sophos XG 85 and 105, has performace problem with SFOS 17, because it is heavy, crashes the equipment, so I suggested downgrade to the SFOS 16 version. 
 Is this information correct? Has anyone else gone through this? Thank you !

Hello, I had the exactly same problem with an XG105w sold to a custommer which as crashing randomly during the day or the night even if it was 0 traffic on the network. 
 It's a XG105w REV.3 (new hardware) and I tested it on 17.0.6, 17.0.8, and 17.1 GA. After weeks of diagnostics with the Sophos Support, they decided to replace the appliance with a new one thinking it was a problem physically on the appliance. They did a RMA. I received the new appliance on monday, and installed it to my custommer. It did not crashed yet since monday. 
 
 Hope it will continue to work and maybe you should ask Sophos Support to replace the appliance like they did for me. 
 For information, I have an XG105w Rev.2 onto my own enterprise, for 6 users and ~30 servers and it works great for one year without crashing. The firmware is 17.1 GA.

Hello, 
 Yesterday morning we updated the firmware to version 17.1.1 MR1, so far it is ok, I know it is little time to evaluate, but I realized a detail, the memory consumption is between 73% to 80%, before with firmware 17.0.8 , in a few minutes the memory consumption was 92%, even with few connections. Let's keep watching, but I sincerely hope that this new firmware is the solution.
