NEST Devices

I have set my 3 NEST devices to DHCP reservations, via MAC address. They are still unable to connect to the cloud, i have disable and web and application policy also but no such luck.

Has anyone run into this previously?

I have 5 Nest devices (two thermostats and 3 smoke detectors) running on XG 17.1.1. I do not have any special firewall rules or application rules. They connect to the Nest servers without issue.

My firewall allow to internet rule has:
- HTTP scan ON
- LAN TO WAN rule under intrusion prevention

Casual thank you for the reply, I have even disabledbapp and webfilter and i do not run IPS. When I look at event logs and search on the IP of those devices all FW rules are green.

I am puzzled by this is why I opened the thread...

Well must be a bug, or some other gremlin... after screwing with it for hours i rebooted the damn box and the damn thing works now... seriously WTF
