IPSec VPN Failover group doens't work

Hello,

I have the following situation, two IPSec VPN tunnel in the Branch Office (VPN1 and VPN2) and a failover group with VPN1 and VPN2.
When XG is reboot for example, the failover group doesn't work.
I always need to disable the failover group and enable it again to work.
It happened in this firmwares: 17.0.8 MR-8, 17.1.0 GA and 17.1.1 MR-1

  • Hi Douglas,

Please provide us more details about this issue. PM me some screenshots of the configured IPSec failover policy, to verify the configurations.

    Thanks,

  • Hi sachingurung, thanks for your reply.

I have 2 IPsec VPN tunnels between Branch and Head Office, and a failover group in Branch Office.

When XG is restarted for example, the failover group doesn't work. (screen1.jpg attached).

And is not possible to disable it either. (screen2.jpg attached)

I need to remove failover group and create it again to IPSec VPN Tunnel goes up.

It also happen when some WAN Link goes down, the failover group don't worksometimes too.

Form me this seems to be firmware bug.
