USB Flash Drive Boot for UTM 425

Hi,

I have a UTM 425 unit that boots fine using a USB CDROM with ISO Image of XG or UTM.

When I create a USB Flash Drive (Using latest Rufus) it won't boot at all.  I have created the flash drive with both DD and standard ISO options with RUFUS.   I set the BIOS priority for the flash drive (it sees the drive) but then on boot the cursor just sits there and blinks.

The exact same flash drive correctly boots without issue on another appliance that I have (an XG 105 appliance).

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Dave

I tried all of these and they work fine with the XG 105 appliance.   Despite these methods the UTM 425 appliance doesn't recognize the USB Flash Drive as a bootable device.  It works fine with a USB CD-ROM but not the flash stick (despite finding it and being able to select it in the BIOS boot order).   If anyone has successfully done this with the UTM 425 it would be great to know.
