Killed my XG105 Appliance

I was messing with the settings of a new XG105 and lost it. Cannot connect because I'm not sure what IP address I set up. So... I want to do a factory restore, however I'm not clear on how to connect with the USB cable included in the box with the 105. I have a MacBook Pro but the instructions for using the terminal app are limited or non existent.

Anyone have advice on how to connect to the CLI using the USB cable and a MacBook?

Thanks. Fairly new at this so thanks for your patience!

  • FYI for anyone with this same learning challenge... The terminal program on a mac does not seem to stay connected to the XG when it reboots. Ended up grabbing a version of putty ported to mac. That did the trick. Was able to restore to factory default.
