Single SSL VPN REMOTE ACCES agent, for multiple sites?

My head office has about eight branches and I want to be able to access each branch remotely.

I have set up the SSL VPN for remote access on each of the boxes.

I want to ask, is there an alternative way of getting an agent that can connect to all the branches, instead of connecting to each branch box through an agent I download from each of the boxes?

  • You can download only the configuration  of each branch ,rename it with branch name and copy it to

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos SSL VPN Client\config

You will now be shown all the branches.Select the appropriate branch and connect.

  • ello,

For the first time you download  the configuration file + installer for your operating system (ex. windows) then for the other XG you download and install the configuration file only and so on...

In the system tray bar it will appear the "trafic light icon" and when you right click on it, you should see all of the vpn client's for each configuration...

  • I dont think this is correct way of doing it.

The OP is asking for Hub-Spoke type of configuration.

In TMG, its dead easy. In sophos, SSL Vpn seems to be convoluted - It doesnot allow us to change anything.

It may be limitation of SSL VPN, but the solution posted is not what OP will need. (Download 100 configurations for 100 branches!!)

    Eg - 192.168.0.1=Headoffice. 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.9.1 = 8 branch offices

The solution should be - You connect to the headoffice (say 192.168.0.1) and the headoffice gives out the routes to itself as well as all other branches. If you want to reach 192.168.1.1, the road warrior should send the packet to headoffice and headoffice routes it to branch.

PS - I need something like this for Site to Site.
