Is logging enabled for your firewall rule?

It would be strange to not have any log entries for this traffic on your Application Filter - Log Viewer.

Are you able to observe any data in your Reports > Applications & Web ?

This is my fault. I was filtering for the source initiating the traffic but it is the answer from the destination which gets dropped. With the right filters (source as destination) I can see what application is blocked.
