You can remove the VM from inventory and add back again in inventory. Make sure you are not deleting the VM.

If I cannot have the OLD VM boot again , is there a way to export the configuration ( we had the time to do a backup ) from the old ?

The solution was actually simple , use the option 6 to format the additional disk .

then reboot
