AD users can't authenticate on User Portal

Hello everybody,

i need your help again..

I'm replacing my old UTM9s with a couple of new XG but i'm going crazy to figure out what i'm doing wrong with the Active Directory user integration.

No one of the AD users can login on User portal or VPN

This is what i've done:

1) configured and tested STAS on both DCs. Works fine and i can see the live users and Sophos appliance IP

2) imported the Groups from ADs

 

 

3) set the ADs as first authentication method for VPN and firewall authentication

 

 

 

4) set the OU groups as allowed groups for vpn and portal login

 

 

 

hope someone can help me..

    Say we have a username : loginuser2@domain.local , could you check the username profile on the XG device. The Admin Portal access is available whoes account is created on the XG appliance. Same goes for VPN as policy would be implemented on the user profile or group.

    If the user's exist then you may check on access server logs . tail -f /log/access_server.log let me know the output and we shall check.

    The problem is that i can't see any AD account in my XG, only the ones that i manually create on it.

    I can't find any "working method" to do it.

     

    I read many answers like "users had to login into user portal so the XG can cache their credentials." 

     

    I think i'm missing the part when i have to import the users on XG..
