Hi Community, SFM/CFM users will face a limitation with SFOS v17.1 GA while applying application filter policy rules. Firewalls running SFOS 17.1 won’t accept application rules applied from SFM / CFM in the following cases From Device group (from group-level view) From Template This also impacts firewall rules, users, and groups, who use the application rules. This issue is caused due to compatibility limitations between SFv17.1 and SFM/CFM. Our Development team is actively working on this issue and this will be resolved in SF v17.1 MR-1. SFM/CFM users will face a limitation with SFOS v17.1 GA while applying application filter policy rules.

Firewalls running SFOS 17.1 won’t accept application rules applied from SFM / CFM in the following cases

This issue is caused due to compatibility limitations between SFv17.1 and SFM/CFM.
