Different users for different ISPs

I use two ISPs and I want to connect both to SOPHOS XG, which I intend to make the gateway.

The way it works is this. For each ISP, there are users assigned to use it. A company policy I may not divulge here.

Is this possible for me to do on SOPHOS XG, like link the same users on the ISP?

  • Hi ZadokXerxes ,

You can create a firewall rule and assign Users/Group/MAC/IPaddress and set the default gateway as Gateway1 as primary and Gateway2 as secondary.

Similairly you may create another Firewall rule and assign different Users/Group/Mac/IPaddress and set the default gateway as Gateway2 and Secondary as Gateway2.

You may need to decide if you have authentication set on XG firewall so that users can be managed.

  • Hi Patel,

This sounds easy enough but have no idea how to implement it. I would like to do the same and also map certain websites to my different ISP's.

A simple guide would be highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Alex.
