Web Protection: Standard- oder Transparenz-Modus?

Das hängt im wesentlichen von den Geräten ab, die damit versorgt werden sollen.

Mobilgeräte, die am besten ohne zentrales Management sind, eher transparent. Windows PC im Domänennetzwerk eher im Standard Modus.

Das hängt aber tatsächlich von den Anforderungen ab.

Erzähl uns doch mal etwas mehr darüber.

Es handelt sich um eine Domäne mit ca. 30 Windows-Rechnern.

D.h. im Standard-Modus müsste jeder einzelne Rechner über einen Proxy laufen?

Many months ago, I had an exchange on this forum who felt strongly that https inspection added too much security risk, and there are many at IETF who would agree with him.   I assumed that it was you or that you shared his concerns.   Thank you for grace.

You raise an interesting question, particularly because of the stress created by GPDR.    It would be a service to this community if you would start a discussion on the legal issues related to https inspection, smtp filtering, or any of UTM's other functions.   It is not a subject that I have considered much.
