I can't access DDNS address from the browser.

Hi All.

I create the SOPHOS DDNS as *****.myfirewall.co and when I ping the address it's getting IP. But when I try to access it through browser it's not getting.

I try https://*****.myfirewall.co and http://*****.myfirewall.co

Should port forward is required from the ADSL, Fiber, or 4G router.

  • I found the Errors

*- We should add port forwarding in the Internet Router (in some routers called port mapping, virtual machine or NAT)
*- Some 4G router port forwarding is not working.

*- if router support Bridge this is better because the SOPHOS will take the public IP direct.

  • Check if you enable access HTTPS from WAN, and you need to create new Rule WAN to Local.

  • Thanks Saleem for your reply , please advise on how to create the rule , i have enabled  HTTPS on WAN , but still no luck

    Please advise on rule configuration

    Cheers

  • you can add rule from

PROTECT --> Rules and policies --> then add rule.

make Source as WAN, Destination as Local.

Be careful because your system will be accessible from WAN, So add a strong password and disable unwanted users with admin privileges
