how do I disable IPv6 tunneling over IPv4?

You need to define 6in4 IP Tunnel on the XG to enable this feature. Refer to, Sophos XG Firewall: How to create an IP tunnel.

I doubt if the feature will work when there are predefined settings, so to disable it you need to enable it first. I could be wrong, please shed some light on me if I am missing anything.

Ahh, Perfect so it's default deny?  SO what you are saying is that if there is no 6in4 IP Tunnel defined then there is no IPv6 packet traversal and data exfiltration in the network via IPv6?
