Hi everyone. I am a new user for firewall. I purchased a xg105 utm with 50 users. I have total 50 computers. 10 computer are for Admins and remaining 40 are for normal user.
the IP I have assigned is 192.168.0.5 - 55 (192.168.0.5 -14 for admins and rest 192.168.0.15 - 50 are for other users). I have created two polices i.e admin_policy and normaluser_policy.
I was wondering is there any way I can configure my device so that if anyone login with admin IP's (i.e. 192.168.0.5 - 14) the policy of admin gets affected and if someone login with normal user IP (i.e 192.168.0.15 - 50) then normal user policy applies automatically. I also want normal users to get a login page before they can access the internet. please help guys and if u know please tell steps to configure this....thnx in advance.

    Hi satyam mehrotra,

    The first, with XG105 you are unable to not enough for 50 computer work together. Sometime, your system can happen.

    Second, I think you should authenticate user with XG105, this is best solution for you. With authentication feature, you can apply policy for another group and monitoring connection by user instead IP.
