Graph shows high usage

Wow....I have a much faster internet connection that I could possible imagine...and one that would have 99.9% of the worlds population in envy!  Never even knew I had a connection that was 214TB :)

Joking aside - is there anyway to be able to fix the random spike, this happened when I upgraded form 17.0.6 MR6 to MR7.

  • Hi,

I logged a fault on the forums about that issue a number of times. I think from my observations that mr-7 fixed the reporting. I had some very serious downloads 10to13mb/s on a 3.5mb/s link which now show the correct values.

Try another reboot to see if that fixes the issue.

Wrong: while not showing 10to13 type figures anymore still showing 37,000KBits on a 100mb/s link connected to a 3.5mb/s internet connection.

Maybe Sophos should ask a user who understands data transfer and date transfer speed to review their graphs before they publish them. They seem to mix speed with data volume. Also depends on which graph you review, live, daily, weekly.

While we are complaining about the graphs lets add date format, I an in Australia and use dd/mm/yy type format except some graphs use the weird US format.

  • Just noticed that MR8 is now out - have upgraded and things have twisted...

My network usage graph is showing as it should, but the number of sessions has skyrocketed.
