Slow web browsing

Hi community,

I'm facing what it looks like a regular issue, I have a XG230 and the web browsing is incredible slow when I'm applying a web filter (even the "allow all"), it takes 15 to 30 secs to load a webpage. Once the web filter field is set in "none" the web browsing works perfect.

Already tried setting malware and content scanning at the minimum protection or best performance/faster user experience in order to decrease the scanning time, keeps happening the same issue.

Any idea what more can be happening or what can I do?

Please, If you have a comment or the answer to this, help me ASAP, CEO and many other people are really angry for selecting sophos because of this problem.

Hi,

first thing you need to do is contact your reseller/partner if you are in need of urgent assistance.

Secondly review your DNS settings in the XG and the server you use for DHCP.

Hi,

DNS from the ISP are set in the XG Firewall, no DHCP are configure. The network use static IP configuration including an internal DNS server.

But, even with that, why if the web policy is set to "allow all" the problem persist and only when is set to "none" it works fine?
