About PPTP VPN Simultaneous Logins

The results of my current test are as follows :
I created a user Danny in XG. PPTP vpn can be used to log in from A computer. You can also access the Internet after logging in successfully (you can also browse yahoo page) I also use another computer also using PPTP vpn and use Danny the same account connection This connection can also be successfully logged in However, this computer cannot browse yahoo web pages
Must be disconnected before browse web pages. Is it correct that Sophos does this for single sign-on? Because, for my understanding, single sign-on should be the same as the one that was later logged in. It will kick off the previous link.
At the same time maintain a single account connection . I run windows pptp program to test pptp connection .Firewall version :SFOS 17.0.3 MR-3

  • Hi Danny,

I would request you to upgrade the firewall to v17 MR8 and report us if the issue persists. What happens when you edit, the User object from the UI and set the Simultaneous login to Unlimited. Also, did you define static IP for PPTP VPN connection for this User?

    Thanks,

  • I do not define static ip for pptp vpn connection user . I setup ip range 192.168.1.100 - 120 .

If I setup If I setup Authentication" > "Services" Tab > "Global Settings" > "Simultaneous Logins" to 2
and Simultaneous Logins settings under "User" Tab to 2

The first user danny can login and could browser web page
but the second user the same account danny could login xg and could browser web page .

  • Hi danny,

You may try the latest version suggested by Sachin, this would help to diagnose this issue further.
