Configure AP100 to use new XG after hardware failure

We have two AP100s in an environment being supported by a vm'd XG firewall.

Unfortunately, the main server the firewall was on died and the latest backup doesn't have the APs configured.

Is there a way to recover these AP's to have them imported into a new XG instance, ideally without needing to replace them (mainly because they are very high up and I am lazy to swap them out)?

  • Hi

There is no need to recover/replace these AP's that were previously used by your other XG. Assuming they are still connected to the same switch, which is connected to the new hardware, they should still come up and register properly on your new XG instance.
