Setting up a RED for the first time. It has successfully connected to the XG firewall.
Is it possible for the RED to perform any firewall or web filtering policies locally or this only achieved by passing traffic through to the XG?
I need web filtering at the remote location but want to reduce traffic to the XG as much as possible.

As per our RED guide, traffic has to be passed to the XG for any rules or policies to be applied. Unfortunately this cannot be done locally just from the RED site. If this is your desired implementation, you may have to look at utilizing another XG firewall instead of a RED device at the remote location.
