Report generation for WAN links

I currently have to external links and would like to see what traffic uses each  link.

The only entry available is for WAN, how do I expand WAN to mean Port 2 and Port 3 in the reports?

  • Hi Ian,

Go to, Reports | Dashboard | Executive Reports | Click on the drop down list View All > select Interfaces. Is that what you are looking for?

    Thanks,

  • Hi Sachin,

yes and no. The report you point at provides the daily totals. but does not appear to be expandable into a graph of the days activities?

If I check the daily emailed executive report it has the same information. but again is not expandable.

  • If you are looking for Web & App activity graph report per interface then please raise it as a feature request on Sophos Ideas

If you want daily usage graphs per interface then go to, Diagnostics | System Graph | Period: Weekly | View Graph: Interface Info/WAN Zone.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Sachin,

thank you for pointing out those graphs, I had forgotten all about them. Of course you need to be logged onto the XG, you can't email them as far as I can see and they are just plain inaccurate, 1234567891011.88 KBits/second on my adsl link. If I use the monthly reports well .......

Then as far as I can tell you can't export the data to plot meaningful stats to check against your WAN suppliers account.

As I and a number other people in this forum asked how does this stuff get past QA? We are now upto v17.0.6 and the graphs are just plain wrong.
