How to access a server in LAN from vlan?

Hi,

I have 192.168.2.xxx in the LAN. I created a VLAN 200 192.168.200.xxx on the LAN port. But now I want to reach an IP address in the LAN of VLAN 200 192.168.2.8. What should the firewall rule look like?

best regards

Christos

    Hi,

Assume if the 'LAN interface is part of LAN-Zone' and the 'VLAN interface is also part of LAN-Zone', then you simply need to create a "LAN_To_LAN" firewall rule.

In this LAN_To_LAN firewall rule, you can keep the Source & Destination Networks as 'Any' OR the specific networks as per your requirement.

In other configuration, I would keep everything disabled.

If above doesn't work, then in this firewall rule please navigate to 'NAT & Routing' and  " Enable 'Masquerading' with 'Default MASQ' " by keep everything else unused & try again.

Hope above may help you with your query.

    Cheers  J

  • After I "Use Gateway Specific Default NAT Policy"
activated, it worked. I have now also only unlocked the port with the server.

    Thanks for your help
