Sandstorm bug

We've had a few issues with Sandstorm, but this one always crops up and has yet to be fixed.

With Microsoft Office 365 Office download, Sandstorm gets stuck in a loop. This is with Sandstorm only in logging mode.

This is from one machine. Any ideas?

Just to add, there's nothing in the Sandstorm log. We know this is sandstorm as when it's active, it logs it. In log only mode it doesn't. I know right?

  • Sandstorm does not have a "log only" mode.  Are you perhaps thinking of the "Advanced Threat Protection" feature, which has a Policy containing dropdowns for Log Only, and for Log and Drop?

    The Advanced Threat Protection and the Sandstorm features are separate, although they are both under the Advanced Threat menu item.

    Advanced Threat Protection also has its own log in the Log Viewer.

     

    Can you better describe your setup (screenshots help) and what is wrong?

    If the advanced threat is enabled, downloads from Microsoft's CDN get stuck, and repeatedly download. Nothing appears in the logs, it's just observed behavior.
