We have a Sophos XG 450 revision 2 for our primary firewall/router. We are currently running 200mbps of bandwidth with absolutely no trouble (unit snoozes most of the time memory/cpu wise). We want to upgrade to 1gbps of bandwidth and keep the same options on. We wanted to make sure that the 450 is capable of handing that much bandwidth without puking or significantly reducing bandwidth. We realize that there is always overhead with IPS and other scrutinization software inside a production firewall so it won't get every single scrap of bandwidth, but we wanted to make sure this device was rated for using that much bandwidth from our ISP.
Anyone use a XG 450 with this much bandwidth or close to it? Can you give your thoughts?
