WWAN reliability

I don't know if this issue is related to WWAN or not.

It's a 105w with wireless bridged to eth0, and a WWAN for internet.

In the workshop it worked great. The previous build was UTM9 and I had to do a bit of mucking around with the USB scripts to make it work, and if I booted up with the USB disconnected I would have to go in and re-attach the interface etc. Under XG it worked really well. Even unplugging the USB WWAN interface and plugging it back in didn't cause any problems.

Now though, it is working less and less reliably. When it first boots up I can see that the bridge interface has an IP address, and the WWAN interface is there and trying to connect, even though neither is working. But after a bit the IP address disappears from the bridge interface and the WWAN interface just disappears.

I'm not really sure where to start looking... any suggestions before I log a support ticket?

    Did you get a response/fix for this?

    I've got a two XG85's which i setup with a 4G USB stick for a couple of users, and although i got it working ok initially, after a reboot the XG won't connect the WWAN connection. 

    The XG detects the modem, but clicking 'connect' does nothing.  I've tested the USB stick directly on a laptop and it works ok, so seems to be something not communicating between the XG and USB stick.  Have had the same issue with V16 and v17 also on a XG125.  Multiple reboots and reinserting stick has no affect.

    Guess i might need to log another support case, or get a seperate 4g router/modem..
