LAN to WAN require ports for Office365 safely

Dear All , 

    Now We are using Sophos XG virtual appliance ( VMware - ESXi 6.5 ) . 

 

    I would like to know which ports should open from LAN to WAN for Internet users ( Office 365 ) . Do you have any suggestion ? Beside http and https , Is there any open need to open ?

My purpose : Network should be safe and also users should use Internet without any problems because of many restriction on Firewall

    Keshan,

    for the best protection, you should allow less services, sites as possible. Understanding the requirements is important. You could deploy XG in bridge mode and open everything, then use the reports and put XG in routing mode and allow the traffic the Customers really needs by analyzing the reports.

    For the Office 365, take note that some applications do not like https scan, so you need to create web exceptions inside XG. Use vendor KB to create proper exceptions.
