Radius accounting information

Has anyone managed to get the Sophos XG to accept the radius accounting data passed to it from a windows server?

I was under the impression it could receive this data (username, mac, ip ect) and then it would add them as SSO user automatically so you could then apply a user policy to the network the device sits on instead of just a global network policy to it.

  • I didnt have to set up a RADIUS server for Authentication within the XG

I set up Authentication / Services / SSO Using RADIUS Accounting Request and then a XG Group on my Windows NPS and use it to authenticate my Wireless Devices that are not domain connected like iPhones, iPads etc.

Works fine (most of the time)
