i have problem with vlans

if you are using Router on a stick, for each VLAN, you need to create a sub-interface on XG by creating a VLAN by specifying the VLAN id on the interface connected to the trunk port of the switch, then create firewall rules to allow traffic for each vlan and between vlan if needed.

i'm connected direct from dsl modem to xg sophos  and from sophos to layer3 switch and create muliple dhcp for each vlan and the vlans can ping to each other , i mean to all configuration exist on layer 3  switch is right but i face problem with xg sophos to access to internet .

how to create firewall rules to allow traffic for each vlan and what do mean create firewall (user/network rules-Business application rules)

1. create vlan on the XG network interface
2. at the step one, remeber the zone you choose
3. create a network firewall rule where:
   1. source zone is "zone step 1"
   2. source network "vlan IP/Subnet. You have to create it"
   3. destination network: wan
   4. service: services you need
   5. MASQ:on

you need to allow all the 192.168.3.0/24 and not only the VLAN interface. So edit the firewall rule > source network > 192,.168.3.0/24 and it will work.
