Using the same HTTPS Scanning CA on multiple XG Firewalls

We have a customer that is planning to deploy multiple XG Firewalls in multiple sites and I was wondering is it possible to make them all use the same CA for HTTPS Decryption and Scanning so that roaming users don't have to install multiple certificates?

  • Surprisingly, I believe you can, Ahmed.

I have two XG230s (on two sites) and the RootCertificate.pem that clients must download and install into their Trusted Root Authorities look exactly the same.

I'm guessing the private-key (the XGs use to sign your self-generated certificate) is the same.
