users logged in using wireless

Hello,

I just finished setting up Sophos firewall XG. Users connected using a wired connection, got authenticated (AD is linked and synced with Sophos) and go through the rule assigned to their groups. however, if the same user connect using wireless, they won't get authenticated. thus they will immediately got the last rule applied to them LAN -WAN. is there a way to get people using wireless to get authenticated?

currently Sophos is integrated with AD. so all I need is the wireless users who are using their work laptops to be authenticated when they are connected to the network using wireless not wired connection.

So you want Use STAS?

Next question, do these Clients gets another IP, when switching to Wireless? Do they generate a Windows Event on the DC?

Does STAS catch the login in the first place?

Sounds like, they uses radius or something else and never generate a login event on the DC.
