Mainboard Super Micro A2SDi-4C-HLN4F (Atom) XG install trouble

I am not able to boot into XG Image.

I prpared a Stick with Rufus 2.18 using DD like in many tutorials and i could boot into it with my older Super Micro mainboard.

But this one is simply noot booting.

I have a Macrium Reflect Dos Stick which boots fine.

I really dont get what it is, even XG is not supporting this mainboard it should at least boot somehow into the stick?

Hi,

please provide details of your motherboard configuration? Disk type etc. I had a look at the website for the MB and possibly the disk controller is not supported?

I only attached one SSD Samsung 120GB 840 Evo and tried severeal USB stick and now also a DVD drive from LG with a image of sophos on a CD.

Hi,

I did some google research and the issue appears to be your motherboard is too new and some chips on it are not supported yet eg no drivers so there is very little chance of the drivers being incorporated into the XG build.

Probbaly you are right and my bad luck continues.

I bought this because XG forgot my 4 port Lan Adapter on my old A1Sxxx Bpard, actually the same but older chips.

The adapter works but all port in XG are signed with N/A whatever I did it's not being recognized anymore.

Any ideas on this?

I bought the same old Supermicro board again:

Supermicro A1 SAi-2550F

With an extra Intel 4 Port card wich makes 8 Ports)

So I have now a spare system which i can swicth if one fails.
