how to exclude exe files. they are blocked in download by users?

under Web > File Type, create a new file type and then add it to the Web Policy (first tab of Web Menu) used by your users.

hi, ok first step is easy. under File Type i can find this:

seems to be added from stock.

it does not work.... the file type exe is added-

then i created a rule, like in your picture, (screen2) (jeder is everyone) 

it is still blocked. users complain about the screen they get:

(stop this download is blocked)

ok i found out, the order is important! . i got some rule fromt stock, wich was above and it blocked my downloads. Now its working

Good. Use test policy and drag-n-drop inside Web Policies. Order is important like Firewall rules do.
