how to clear the logs on xg firewall

from what I can see there are no functions in the GUI to allow this. I suspect there are CLI commands, but I do not know them. In the meantime I think you could disable all logs wait 10 minutes and re-enable them or selectively disable items. I understand this is not a good way because you in theory loose all your logging information.

You might consider submitting a feature request for this feature.

The only way to purge logs is using Admin UI > Reports > show report settings > data management or manual purge tab.

I had not seen that function before. So selective purging is available, mine goes back to 2010, bit strange for a recent build.

The other option is to flush device report (option 5 > 4) from CLI but you cannot control which logs will be deleted.

Will that clear up space on the log drive?

I'm running it as VM and it would be nice to be able to shrink the disk after deleting old logs.
