Cannot restore backup from XG85 to SG125 (both running on 17.03.MR-3) / error: "sophos XG backup cannot be restored on current device"

During the process of migration from UTM to XG, I am facing the an error during the restoring of backup file, created on XG85 (17.03.MR-3) on SG125 (17.03.MR-3) - "sophos XG backup cannot be restored on current device"

I tried with different backup files, the result is same.

According to Sophos this backup-restore scenario is supported.

Please for help.
