I have two VoiP phones from different providers. About two weeks ago one service (prior to V17 MR5) would stop registering after about 15 minutes. The other service stopped registering time updates but still registered. Time was fixed by adding the NTP rule as discussed in another thread. I had added NTP to the VoIP phone firewall rule.
For the first unit I updated the software, that made things worse, the device would go off line and only reconnect at power restart. I tried all sorts of changes to the SPA112 to no avail. I added extra services to the VoIP firewall rule, no affect.
What update to the XG caused this, I don't know.
So in the end I have changed the VoIP in services to Any and the device now stays on line and registers correctly. Very frustrating because the logs do not show any of the failed traffic.

Update:- SPA112 failed to re-register after the XG was restarted to see if that fixed the Apple store issue, now seeing errors in the SPA112 logs I have not seen before MR5 upgrade.
Conclusion is the SPA112 is broken.
I replaced the SPA112 with a new unit and all appears well. Looks like the NIC interface failed on the old one.
