Suggestion for Firmware Upgrade Notification

If this is in the wrong place, apologies.

I don't spend a great deal of time in my Sophos XG. Can a "firmware upgrade available" email be sent from my XG to inform me in case i don't happen to go in and see?

Hi Jon,

I thinks this is not possible yet.

The only notification I found was IPsec Up/Down and Backup.

Yeah.....it was a suggestion aimed towards Sophos

Ops, Sorry.

I'm wondering if this notification exists in Sophos UTM why not in Sophos XG

Hi

That is a workaround but it would be advantageous to have the facility on the box itself.

What if the notification has to go to people who are not registered with Sophos? That only allows for one person.
