Hi
Ian we don't use any monitor link if internet goes down only i check issue through the firewall then only i get know pppoe disconnected
Hi Noel,
I was talking about link monitoring within the XG, if it thinks the link is down regardless it will stop any connections. I know there is a bug in the IPv6 process, but had not had any issues with IPv4 except when it is on the link that also has IPv6 enabled.

Experimenting with XG
Hello
I had a similar issue, constant WAN drop outs at random times. I did manage to track down the problem.
I had upgraded the firmware on a DrayTek Vigor modem, and the in this process the MTU on the modem was changed. This created an MTU miss-match between the modem and the XG.
Setting both MTU values to the correct, and matching, value solved the issue.
I hope this helps.
