SMC 5.1.3 SMTP setup not saving password

Hi , 
 setting up a new server with SMC 5.1.3. 
 When trying to Confgure the SMTP in the System setup section, the password for the SMTP user is not being saved. 
 Because of this I'm unable to enrol windows devices. 
 If I enter the SMTP user password and click "Send Test email" I get a confirmation message saying "email sent" and I receive an email a test email. 
 If I then click on Save, and try "Send test email" I get an error saying " Email could not be sent". 
 
 Has anyone come across this before ?

Hi Jason, 
 
when you press the "Save" button the password is put into the database and the field is cleared. The "Test" button however uses the information entered in the Web Console and does not use the password stored in the database. So if you want to test the settings again, you'd have to enter the password. 
 
So your described behavior is at the moment "works as designed".
