Google Pixel 2 XL crashes after installing Sohpos

I have a Google Pixel 2 XL running Android 8.0.0 and I installed Sophos for Android last night. My phone appears to have spontaneously restarted twice today and installing Sophos is the only change I have made in the last 24 hours. I have only had the phone for three days. How do I determine if it is Sophos that is causing the restarts? Thanks in advance.

Sophos home is a phishing malware

it can never be uninstalled from any system

Really S Ma? It's "a phishing malware" is it? Being the computer genius that you are perhaps you'd like to inform Tech Radar http://www.techradar.com/reviews/sophos-home and our labs would LOVE to hear from you.

Yes you're right, it can never be uninstalled.... unless you go to Programs and Features then choose to remove it.
