I am trying to figure out what my options are for my Samsung Galaxy S III where it may be lost or stolen...it appears that the device has no power (tried calling the phone and it goes right to vmail).
I have sent the remote texts per the manual:
alarm password
locate password
lock password message
The questions are:
1. If the phone is setup with encryption at boot will the remote texts work if the phone is powered on or do you have to have the encryption password entered and boot to OS first?
2. Same question as 1., but for the second password (boot is Encryption password one and login to OS password second password), do you have to login to the OS for the remote text commands to work?
3. Is there an online console to locate/manage the device that has Sophos Mobile Security Free Edition installed or are the text commands the only way to try to communicate with the device?
4. Are there any other options to try to locate/communicate with the phone?
Thank you!
