 Hi everyone,

 

has anyone an idea how to restrict the ActiveSync to apps which are running in the company account?

I'm currently having the issue if I enable ActiveSync for a certain user agent string, it can connect to ActiveSync regardless if the app is run from the company or the personal account.

    Dear Sebastian,

    For fix this problem:

    1. Prohibit all application installations and additions.
    2. Define allowed applications (What you want to use app?).

    unfortunately this won't solve our problem.

     If I grant access to a certain user agent (e.g. android standard mail app) via the EAS proxy it connects to the exchange server.

    At the exchange server I can restrict the access by device type or class or for each mail box and connecting each. If I do that, the user can connect to the exchange server via the EAS proxy with the same app, but from the non Android Enterprise account.

     I was wondering if there is a possibilty to only allow access to the Sophos EAS proxy from apps with Android Enterprise. Something like a vpn by app...
