Manually Enrolling New Smartphones In SMC

I setup all the smartphones for my company and I want to know how I manually enroll  new phones. The users are synced with Active Directory and I can locate them and I click the email setup button but the end user never gets the email.

  • Have you checked the Email Address? (Manage > Users > Check email address is valid)

    Have you checked the SMTP settings? ( Log in as superadmin, Setup > System setup > SMTP )

  • Hi,

    depending on the way you are enrolling a new device, the email is either sent to the users' email address or the email address defined within the device details.
    If the enrollment task has the status "Notified" then it indicates, that the email was successfully sent and received by an email server.
