Multiple URL for one SMC Server

Hi Community,

i am just looking for a way to make one SMC Server available under different URLs. At the moment i havent found one, so if anyone have a hint for me, it would be nice.

    What are you trying to achive?

    There are a few tricks, like create a CNAME record to point to the main URL, that will allow you to use a different URL, but the device will still enroll under the main URL.

    Hi,

    I agree with Bohdan. When installing the SMC server you have to enter a URL which is available externally via the Internet.
    This URL is used by the devices to synchronize with the SMC server.

    It is not possible that one SMC server distributes different URLs.

    Of course, connecting to an SMC server via the browser and different URLs is possible as stated before.
    But devices still connect to one specific URL.
