App protection doensn't function

To whom it may concern,

On my mobile phone I've installed Sophos Mobile Security 5.0.1515 and setup the app protection feature. This should make that if apps like 'settings', 'play store' and 'google setting' are openend a password is required. This used to work for a while.

Now only changing settings in Sophos Mobile Security requires a password. The google play store doesn't require is anymore.

(My phone is a sony Xperia Z3 compact with lollipop 5.5.1, not rooted, no custom firmware, no ART)

Is this bug know to Sophos and is there a solution available?

Please excuse this issue. The Stagefright patch has disabled this feature. You will see an update soon, which re-enables it after the user confirms, we can access "runtime data" as Google calls it

Same here on our HUAWEIs P8 Lite (Android 5.0.1). Is there a timeline for re-enabling this feature?
