Upgrade from SMC 4.0.4 to 5 - Database migration hung

During my upgrade from SMC 4.0.4 to 5 the Database migration hung at stage 11 of 27 external users. After waiting for a long time I killed the process and the system things that the upgrade has completed. The GUI however still says version 4.0.4. But all the devices and rules etc seem to be in there fine. How do I fix the database migration and also get the GUI up to date? Then I can upgrade to v6.

    We had a similar issue last year. We were not able to upgrade unless we erased (moved) all external user from SMC and terminated all policies und rules those concern external users. After that, we were able to start upgrade routine again and finish it.

    This error appeared in the install log, as we upgraded. Search for this, bevor you make any mistakes!
